FAQ

  • What do we wear to our shoot?

I always recommend wearing whatever makes you feel most comfortable and most like yourself — but if you’d like outfit suggestions, I’m more than happy to help.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely! I'm more than happy to chat about a payment plan that works best for you.

  • Do I have to pay a deposit?

To book in your shoot, a non refundable retainer of 25% of the shoot cost is required. The remaining can be paid after the shoot/when you receive your sneak peeks.

  • What time of day will the shoot be?

This varies depending on the time of year, indoor shoots are more flexible. For outdoor shoots either an hour or two after sunrise or an hour before sunset. We can always do a full sun session if you prefer though!

  • What happens if there is bad weather or we need to reschedule?

If the weather is looking wet or windy, I’ll be in touch to reschedule — I want to make sure we get the best out of your shoot and that everyone is comfortable. I also understand that life happens, so if you need to reschedule, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

  • How long will it take to receive my gallery?

In the days that follow our shoot, you’ll receive some sneak peeks along with your invoice. Once payment is made, your full gallery will be delivered within three weeks, and your chosen images within 48 hours of selections.

  • Can I get a copy of the raw files?

So much of the magic happens during the editing process, therefore raw files aren’t an accurate representation of my work. Due to this reason I don’t share raw files.

  • Will our photos be posted on social media?

Prior to our shoot, I’ll send you a detailed questionnaire. One of the questions will ask whether you’re comfortable with me sharing images and behind-the-scenes content from the session.

  • Where will the shoot take place?

If you have a location in mind I would love to hear your idea! Otherwise I usually suggest the beach, a park, the botanic gardens, at your home or a forest.
